Presenter: Annette Kaitinis – Barrister at the Victorian and Tasmanian Bar
Annette Kaitinis was admitted to practice in Tasmania and Victoria in 1997 and signed the Bar Roll in April 2004.
Annette commenced her career in litigation at Corrs Chambers Westgarth (Melbourne) and in 2001 was appointed a senior associate. She worked on a wide range of commercial matters including contractual disputes, Corporations Law, public liability, trade practices, insurance, local government planning and building control and financial securities litigation.
In 2010 Annette left the Victorian Bar and was appointed special counsel at Gadens to manage a Banking and Finance practice for a partner on leave specialising in back end security enforcement, possession and mortgagee sales.
Since returning to the Bar Annette has appeared in most jurisdictions such as the Magistrates' Court, Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, County Court, Supreme Court, Federal Court and the Federal Circuit Court.
Since 2004 Annette has also been an instructor at the Leo Cussen Institute (Melbourne) teaching advocacy, enforcement and civil procedure.
