Technology in Civil Litigation and Appeals - Supreme Court

Join Jim Connolly, Registrar, Supreme Court of Tasmania, as he takes practitioners through the use of technology and paperless processes that are operating in the Supreme Court. This will include the content of Supreme Court of Tasmania Practice Direction no.6 of 2019 - Technology in Civil Litigation and Appeals as well as relevant updates in light of the impact of COVID19.



Jim Connolly has been the Registrar of the Supreme Court and Sheriff of Tasmania since 2012, prior to which he was the Administrator of the Magistrates’ Court for 14 years. In his role as Sheriff he is responsible for the execution of judgments and orders of the Supreme Court, including recovery of debts and property.
